By the time 'Robot stop' came round for the *second* time, I was just wishing they'd go through the whole album again (maybe not strictly *ad infinitum*, but for at least a couple more times!). The crowd went mad and there was more crowd-surfing than I've seen in ages. My favourite album of the year so far, really, and they did it justice. But the tracks from Nonagon Infinity were the standouts - the album is so utterly strong, almost from beginning to end. Between these three parts were numbers from their back-catalogue, like 'Trapdoor' (a lot less interesting live than in the studio version), 'Cellophane', etc. They didn't, but split it into three parts, each three songs long. I can't have been the only person wondering whether they would do their recent 'Nonagon Infinity' album end-to-end without a break (as it appears on the cd and streaming). The support act (a three-man band (from Spain? called Los Padres?)) came across like the Velvet Underground doing a set of Lovin' Spponful songs. I found the background video show a bit distracting as I was up in the Mezzanine area, but all-in-all a great concert by a great band! Come back to Canada soon!! The only thing missing was a solo from Ambrose, but with so many songs to choose from you can’t have everything. Epic drum solos from Eric and Michael were definitely one of the highlights of the night. They played an eclectic set list, that made its way through their huge back catalogue of albums and was able to change up the pace now and then to give people a chance to catch their collective breaths. The headliners finally made their way on stage and proceeded to send the crowd into a moshing frenzy with music from their latest album Infest the Rats Nest. #2 opening band was Stonefield, a power-rock band consisting of four sisters who really got the crowd head-banging and warmed up for King Gizzard.

Abilities and traits Healthpoints (Living): 30 Healthpoints (Dead): 30 Speed: 100 Starting Weapon: Fire Staff Starting Equipment: n/a Starting Items: n/a Analysis The Wizard has the lowest HP out of all the characters (in all forms), and has no starting equipment to make up for it. I’d like to see them do a longer set to get a better idea of how they compare to their excellent studio work. The Wizard is unlocked by beating the game once. Great show at Rebel Club on August 25, 2019! Wonderful display of talented bands from “down under” Opening act #1 was ORB who were as good as their sound system would let them.
